Dr. Roy Rivera, Jr., is a visionary health equity leader, LGBTQ+ advocate, and a nationally recognized award-winning healthcare entrepreneur transforming how professionals learn to deliver inclusive care. As Founder and CEO of inclusiviQ, he leads the development of the world’s first CE-accredited, gamified education platform dedicated to inclusive, trauma-informed, and identity-conscious healthcare.
With over two decades of experience across clinical practice, public health, and higher education, Dr. Rivera brings a powerful blend of lived experience and professional expertise. A gay, Latinx founder and Doctor of both Physical Therapy and Public Health, he has built his career at the intersection of care delivery, cultural humility, and systems change.
He is also the founder of Elation Physical Therapy, a nationally recognized LGBTQ+-affirming clinic that pioneered inclusive care models for marginalized and underrepresented communities.
Through inclusiviQ, Dr. Rivera has launched the Certificate in Healthcare Inclusive Practice (CHIP), a 30-hour, interdisciplinary CE certification designed to help clinicians, administrators, and students close health disparities, meet licensure requirements, and lead equity-centered change across the healthcare system.
